Выступление канадской пары фигуристов Джессика Дюбе / Брайс Дэвисон на турнире Four Continents в американском Колорадо Спрингс закончилось несчастным случаем. Выполняя один из элементов, Дэвисон случайно попал коньком в лицо своей партнерши: Дюбе получила глубокие порезы левой щеки и носа.

Как передает Lenta.ru, спортсменка была доставлена в больницу и прооперирована. По словам медицинского советника Международного союза конькобежцев (ISU) Джейн Моран, Дюбе избежала травмы глаза и переломов лицевых костей. Тренер фигуристки Энни Барабе посетила свою подопечную в больнице и сообщила, что Дюбе чувствует себя нормально.

Дэвисон нанес травму своей партнерше, когда фигуристы выполняли параллельное вращение и нарушили синхронность движений. Отметим, что после короткой программы канадская пара занимала восьмое место. Дюбе и Дэвисон не участвовали в этапах Гран-при сезона-2006/07, так как спортсменка восстанавливалась после травмы колена.
